Fairy Aid is Rachel, born from an idea of simply seeing a way in which she could help and be of service to anyone needing a hand.

She is the fairy who will come to you and help in any way she can. She has recently moved from East Sussex to Frome. She can come to you wherever you are – of course practically speaking within striking distance of Frome is easier, but she can travel much further afield.

 

Who is Rachel?

Rachel is highly practical and loves to help people. Her joy is sorting out a muddle, organising the disorganised, clearing the way for a lovely comfortable tidy existence.

She loves to hear her clients heave a sigh of relief and say "thank heavens that's sorted at last".

Fairy Aid is the local service run by Rachel who very often willingly rolls up her sleeves and gets on and does whatever needs to be done to make her clients comfortable and calm.

​

Fairy Aid offers a tailor-made service entirely personal to her clients' needs, and as long as she’s capable and it’s legal, she’ll take it on! For some it might be a one-off requirement, whereas for others it might be more on-going. She isn't a carer or a cleaner, though she certainly cares about her clients and if, in the course of a declutter, a little cleaning is required, she will roll up her sleeves if necessary.

‘I tend to work my diary week by week and that way I can fit everyone in. I am very flexible and it helps if my clients can be too, which miraculously they are! Some projects are open-ended, like gardening and some, like de-cluttering go on for as long as it takes.

If necessary Rachel can get extra help (other fairies) for certain projects when more than one person may be needed.

Fees

£20 per hour

Minimum time booked is 2 hours

A travel distance of over 5 miles there will be a charge for petrol - 45p per mile
